Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori chicken is a dish made in india pakistan bangladesh. It is widely popular in the Middle East and the Western world. It consists of roasted chicken prepared with yogurt and spices. The name comes from the type of cylindrical clay oven, a tandoor, in which the dish is traditionally prepared.

1 and half kg chicken thighs

7 tbsp yogurt

2 tbsp ginger and garlic

1/2 cup lemon juice

3/4 cup oil

1 1/2 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1tsp fenugreek

salt to taste

1/2 tsp black pepper

red color




1Take a bowl add in yogurt, ginger and garlic, lemon juice, oil, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek, salt, black pepper, red color.

2Mix it all up then one by one add in the chicken put the masala on the chicken then let it rest to the side for 2-4 hours.

3Then bake it in the oven for an 1 hour make sure to turn it after 30 min.

4After the chicken is done put the chicken in a large pot take a foil put it on top of the chicken

5then on top goes the coal warm some oil and drizal on top of the coal and close the lid after 5 min take the coal out.

6serve the chicken with naans and chutneys
