Shami kebab burger is a very popular fast-food snack for almost all the kids and everybody. The best street foods of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now we bring the street food taste to your homes. Shami kebab burger is made by mixing lentil and minced lamb. Onions, egg and ketchup are the most common toppings and it is served with french fries. Try this yummy recipe.
For Shami Kebab

1Wash dall and let it soak in water for at least 2-3 hours.
2In a large pan add in lamb mince, daal, onions, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, whole black cardamom,red whole dried chilis, salt to taste, 4-5 cups water, garlic and ginger paste .
3Boil till the mince is cooked thoroughly and daal is soft (add more water if needed).
4Once the dall and mince is cooked and little water is left. Let it cook on a very high flame and stir continuously until you have a fully dried mixture.
5Remove the mixture into a open bowl and leave it to cool.
6Now chop onions, green chilies and coriander.
7Now grind the mince and all the masalas inside the mixture to a fine paste and remove in a bowl.
8Add in the chopped onions, green chilies, coriander, and mix well with hands.
9Check and adjust the salt, add in the eggs and mix.
10Take handful of the mixture then form them into round shaped patties.
11Heat oil in a wok or frying pan. Dip the patties in egg and fry on a medium heat till light golden brown from both sides then take it out and place on a plate on top of paper tissue.
1In a grinder add in the yogurt, coriander, mint leaves, green chili, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Grind until everything is mixed into paste and take it out in to a small bowl.
1Cut the bun into half or you can take 2 slices of bread and cook the inner sides with oil till slightly brown.
2Apply chutney on both sides.
3On one half add salad leaves, onions, tomatoes and cucumber.
4Apply mayonnaise,ketchup or chutny over it.
5Fry an omelet with chaat masala and place it over the stuffing.
6Spread shami kebabs on the other half of bun and join both sides.
7Place the burger back on the pan or tawa with oil and lightly fry both sides.
8Press down the burger with spatula making sure the stuffing does not come out.
9burgers are ready to serve with some chips.
The rest of the mixture that's left just make it into round patties and freeze it for the next time you want to have it, take it out and leave it out for 20 min then fry it with egg. You can use a sandwich maker too.
