Mixed Bean Salad

If you like beans and would like to try a salad with a mixture of all your faviorate beans, then the mixed bean salad is for you. It is very healthy and refreshing. With every bite you will be able to taste a bit of chickpeas, kidney beans, tomatoes and onions. The taste of this salad can vary based on how you make it. You can make it spicy or mild. Its all up to you.

1 (500g) can of red kidney beans

1 (500g) can of white beans

1 (500g) can of chickpeas

2 tomatoes, chopped

1/2 large onion, chopped

1 red pepper, chopped

5-6 green chilli minced (to taste)

1 lemon juiced (to taste)

5-6 tbs oil (vegetable oil may be substituted)

1 tsp chilli powder

1/2 black pepper

Salt (to taste)



1Drain and rinse the beans and add to your mixing bowl.

2Add in the tomatoes, onions, red peppers, green chillies, oil, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.

3Next take fresh lemon juice and coriander put it on top of the beans and mix it up.

4Mixed bean salad is ready to serve with any food of your choice.

You can add lettuces or cucumber.
