Aloo Bukhara Chutney

Aloo Bukhara Chutney is a sweet and sour dip. Its so easy to make at home, just mix up all ingredients and cook. Plum Chutney is mostly served in weddings garnishing with almonds and melon seeds makes it look nice.

  • Serves: 3 Servings


1 cup Aloo Bukhara (Dried plums )

3/4 cup Sugar

1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Melon seeds

as required Almond

red food colour (optional)


1Wash the plums and let it soak in water for 2 hours until the plums have soaked in some water.

2then in a pot add in the dried plums next add in the sugar red chili powder salt.

3let it boil until the water has gone a bit thick and the plums has gone soft after then add in the melon seeds and almonds.

4serve the dish cold.
